Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for visiting my website and my fans for all of your support!! I am in Paris this week (but you probably already know that) for the French Open and I am getting ready to play Dinara Safina tomorrow in the quarterfinals. This is the first time I ever made the quarterfinals at a grand slam, and it is something new for me and a really big step and I am looking forward to the challenge to see how well I do in the next step.
In my last match against Ana Ivanovic, it was just so unbelievable. It was so close between us in the beginning of the first set, and then in the second set, and the crowd was really cheering for her and behind her since she won the French Open last year. I am just so happy that I won to get to the quarterfinals. Tomorrow should be a really good match against Dinara because she has only lost one match on clay this season. The last time Dinara and I played each other was at Indian Wells in March, and I came back and won in three sets after losing the first. Dinara is always such a tough player and competes really hard in every match, but I am feeling very confident on the clay about the way I am playing and moving so I am just going to go out and play my game.
Today I also played in the quarterfinals of the doubles with my partner Elena Vesnina from Russia and we beat Zi Yan and Jie Zheng in three sets so now we are in the semifinals. I haven’t had much time to rest and time off from playing so far in Paris, but I just love it so much here. It is such a good place to shop, and I hope I will be able to go to the Dior store before I leave because it is my favorite designer and Dior shoes are my favorite.
Okay well I have go to go rest and get ready for my big match tomorrow so bye for now and until next time!

Hi everyone!
I had a second so I thought I would check in.
I’m back in the US! Currently I am in Los Angeles playing in the East West Bank Classic. The tournament is going well so far. I played Yung-Jan Chan and Samantha Stosur in the first couple rounds here and I’m still alive. I’m playing good tennis and I always enjoy LA so it’s a good combination. My agent, John Tobias, made the trip to watch yesterday so it was good having him in the stands as well.
I’m here for a couple more days and then it gets really crazy. The Olympics start August 11th and I can’t even describe my excitement about representing Belarus. Beijing should be a fun trip and hopefully I’ll bring home a medal!
That’s it for now, but I’ll check in soon. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi everyone!
It’s been about a month now so I wanted to check in with everyone. I have been traveling a lot, but it’s okay because I get to visit some really fun places! As you may have noticed, we were playing in London the last couple weeks. It’s always special to play at Wimbledon because of its tradition. I won a couple rounds in the tournament, defeating Tsvetana Pironkova and Sorana Cristea. Unfortunately I lost to Nadia Petrova in the Round of 32 in a really tight match. Frustrating! But that’s how it goes sometimes.
In the doubles, I made it to the quarterfinals with Shahar Peer which was pretty exciting. Shahar is always fun to play with and everyone already knows how talented she is. We lost to the #1 seeds, but it was really close which means we must play well together!
I have a busy schedule coming up, starting with the Kennedy Funding Invitational this weekend. I’ve heard great things about the tournament and I’m excited to be a part of it since it benefits breast care. Always rewarding when we can help out!
I’m playing in Los Angeles starting July 21st and I’ll be playing Montreal the following week. I’m about to hit the road again so I’ll check back in when I’m near a computer. Thanks for following me, you all are the best!

Hi everyone!
Sorry I have not been posting recently but I wanted to give everyone an update on what has been going on. A lot has happened in the past few months with regards to my ranking and just last week I won the French Open mixed doubles title with Bob Bryan! I really enjoyed playing with Bob because he is such a good doubles player. I am hoping we can play again as I think we are an extremely tough team to beat. At Wimbledon I want to concentrate on singles and doubles so Bob and I decided against playing mixed doubles. Since I last wrote I have also reached the finals of the tournament in Prague and the semifinals of Berlin…although I am proud of my results this year I am still looking for my first singles title!
The past 5 or 6 days I have been relaxing at home and tomorrow I will travel to Eastbourne to get ready for the grass court season. Oh..and yeah I forgot I just got a new dog….and I named him Rolex :)
I promise I will be better about updating my blog…wish me luck!
