Hitting the road again
Hi everyone!
It’s been about a month now so I wanted to check in with everyone. I have been traveling a lot, but it’s okay because I get to visit some really fun places! As you may have noticed, we were playing in London the last couple weeks. It’s always special to play at Wimbledon because of its tradition. I won a couple rounds in the tournament, defeating Tsvetana Pironkova and Sorana Cristea. Unfortunately I lost to Nadia Petrova in the Round of 32 in a really tight match. Frustrating! But that’s how it goes sometimes.
In the doubles, I made it to the quarterfinals with Shahar Peer which was pretty exciting. Shahar is always fun to play with and everyone already knows how talented she is. We lost to the #1 seeds, but it was really close which means we must play well together!
I have a busy schedule coming up, starting with the Kennedy Funding Invitational this weekend. I’ve heard great things about the tournament and I’m excited to be a part of it since it benefits breast care. Always rewarding when we can help out!
I’m playing in Los Angeles starting July 21st and I’ll be playing Montreal the following week. I’m about to hit the road again so I’ll check back in when I’m near a computer. Thanks for following me, you all are the best!

Vik, Loved watching you and Shahar. Congratulations on your victory at Kennedy today. We were at the very top of the non-sponsor stands holding umbrellas and rooting for both of you - just above the Jewish guy yelling in Hebrew for Peer. Enjoyed the match and will keep following your career. Good luck!
It was also great watching the doctor from the country club warming you up and having a hard time keeping up with your shots.
